It’s loud before you even push past the heavy felt curtains into the brewery taproom. The whole place smells like fresh hops and hot electronics.

Concrete floors bounce every sound right into your teeth. There’s no raised stage here, just a corner where amps stack up against giant stainless steel fermenters. You’ll have to squeeze past people holding pints of hazy IPA just to catch a clear view of the pedalboards. The lighting is pure industrial glare, casting weird green shadows over the drummer’s kit. Bartenders don’t mess around, so you better know your order before you reach the front of the sticky wooden bar.

Sound bleeds straight into the outdoor patio where people crowd around metal picnic tables. You can’t hear yourself think, but nobody's complaining about it. Someone spilled an entire round near the merch table, and security just tosses down a dirty rubber mat without breaking stride. My shoes are already sticking to the floor.
